Therapy Intensives
What is a therapy intensive?
A therapy intensive is an extended session—typically 2 to 3 hours—that allows us to move at a deeper pace than a standard session.
Rather than stopping just as something begins to unfold, you have time to:
settle into the work
explore what’s coming up more fully
process experiences with more continuity
The pace is still guided by you. There’s no pressure to go further than what feels manageable.
Who this can be helpful for
Therapy intensives may be a good fit if you:
feel stuck in something you’ve been trying to understand
are working through the impact of emotional or narcissistic abuse
are navigating a trauma bond or relationship confusion
want more focused time for deeper therapeutic work (including EMDR)
prefer a more immersive, uninterrupted space
What a session can look like
Each intensive is tailored to you, but may include:
time at the beginning to clarify what you want to focus on
deeper therapeutic work (such as IFS, EMDR, or relational exploration)
breaks as needed
space at the end for reflection and integration
The goal isn’t to rush or push through—it’s to allow enough space for things to unfold more naturally.
Is this the right fit for you?
Therapy intensives aren’t the right approach for everyone.
Before booking, we would take time to:
understand what you’re hoping to work on
determine whether an intensive feels appropriate
make sure the pace and structure feel supportive

When you need more space than a standard session allows
Sometimes it’s not that you don’t know what you want to work on—it’s that there hasn’t been enough time to fully explore it.
You might feel like:
you keep circling the same patterns
something important comes up, but the session ends too soon
you’re ready to understand something more deeply
Therapy intensives offer a longer, focused space to do that. Some people find it helpful to have more time than a standard session allows—especially when working through trauma or using approaches like EMDR.
